High School Aerospace Scholars

For high school juniors only! High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) is a 10-week interactive on-line learning experience, highlighted by a six-day internship where selected students are encouraged to study math, science, engineering, or computer science by interacting with engineers at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC). When completed, it can be used as a science elective credit. Two of our daughters enjoyed and interned with this program. After her first year in college, one of them interned for a whole Summer as a Texas Aerospace Scholar at JSC working with NASA professionals! Various similar opportunities are available for HAS alumni. Applications must be completed no later than November 13, 2009.
