Forms

To be eligible to advance beyond the North Texas District Science Fair, certain forms MUST be completed and signed BEFORE the student begins his or her experimentation. Students who have not followed all rules necessary to remain eligible for higher-level science fairs will not advance beyond the North Texas District Science Fair.

Competition division and forms

Division Grade Forms required to advance to DRSEF
Explorers 3 and 4 No forms are required
Experimentalists 5 and 6 No forms are required
Junior 7 and 8 Form 1, 1A, 1B, Abstract, maybe others - see below
Senior 9 to 12 Form 1, 1A, 1B, Abstract, maybe others - see below

The four forms below must be completed for ALL Junior and Senior projects.

  1. Checklist for Adult Sponsor (Form 1)
  2. Research Plan (Form 1A) - complete before start of experimentation
  3. Approval Form (Form 1B) - complete before start of experimentation
  4. Intel ISEF Abstract - complete after experimentation
