Eligibility for the North Texas District Science Fair for Homeschoolers
- Home-educated students in Grades 3 through 12 who live in Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, or Rockwall counties (TEA region 10) during the 2008/2009 School Year may enter.
- Students who attend public schools (including on-line) or full-time private schools may not enter.
- Students who enter a project in any other science fair that feeds into the Beal Bank Regional Science & Engineering Fair or the Texas Science & Engineering Fair are not eligible to enter the NTD Science Fair.
- Homeschool students entering the Fort Worth Regional Science Fair from TEA region 11 may practice with us and earn awards; see Fort Worth Regional.

All student projects MUST conform to the safety guidelines. If in doubt about something, send us a note. We will do our best to help you comply at the fair (time permitting), but your project may be weakened or disallowed.
